20th Wedding Anniversary Gift I Would Like From My Husband

Although china is the traditional 20th anniversary wedding gift, I would not want it to be the focus of the gift I'd want my husband to give me.

I myself will be celebrating my 19th anniversary this year, so as someone nearing the 20th year benchmark, I would want my husband's gift to me to show that he put a lot of thought and time into it.

I would want my husband to reserve one night in a local upscale hotel. He himself would make sleepover arrangements for the kids, so they would be happy. Then, we'd check in the hotel, go swimming in their pool or to their spa, have a romantic dinner there, go for a walk and spend the night not watching tv but talking and just enjoying each other's company.

He'd make the effort to wake up earlier in the morning (he works nights) and then we'd go play indoor tennis and have a brunch. He would give me a CHINA jewelry box and it it would be a ring- something that would commemorate our 20 years together, to go with the wedding ring.

Then, we'd pick up the kids and go to the park. This is a great 2oth anniversary gift because it shows he's focused on me, which, for me, is something I don't get a lot of. Day to day, the focus is on his work and making sure he is prepared for work and his interests.

He does do it because it's his way of providing and showing his love for his family, but mostly I want him to be more direct! This gift incorporates MY interests in exercise and talking time. I say, just your desire and effort to give something nice to your wife is priceless. She is a blessed woman!!
