I am looking for a 2nd year wedding anniversary gift for my husband. I want something that is not too expensive but still is nice. I am not fussed about whether we follow the wedding anniversary gift list or not - but if there is a good idea from it I am open to ideas...

Congratulations Rachel on your 2nd wedding anniversary!

If your husband is into sports maybe get him tickets to his favorite game, or some new sporting equipment (eg if hes into golf, new golf glove). Or you could get him a voucher for lessons for a new sport he hasn't tried.

Take him on a brewery or wine tour depending which one he would appreciate more.

Have an adventure! Buy an unlimited day rail pass and just see where you end up...

The second wedding anniversary gift is cotton/straw for traditional and china for the modern gift. You could celebrate by going to a local Chinese restaurant. Anything cotton - which includes sports clothes, hats, scarves even get him a new cotton hammock.
