Happiness is the last 40 years we spent together
Nothing we were unable to weather
Happiness with occasionally resistance!
What a pair! Both with equal persistence!
Compromising, agreeing, disagreeing
Together, our goal of obstacles freeing!
Started in high school as the finest of friends
High school sweethearts beginning to all ends
Here?s to us, past, present, forever
Until ?death do us part? always remember!
Until then let us cherish our blessings
Three children; their mates; eight grandchildren
All our priceless gifts????..
Let us toast together for us, my darling, for now and forever!
