Debbie's anniversary gift. A romantic homemade idea making a message in a bottle. Click for more homemade anniversary gift ideas.

You will need:

- One bottle...wine bottle etc...
- Things to decorate your bottle...ribbon etc...
- Paper

Write any message that you would like on a piece of paper, roll it up and wrap with ribbon.

Decorate the bottle any way you would like. Slip your message into the bottle.

I did this for my husband on our second wedding anniversary and he loved it!

Hi Debbie,

Thank you for your message in a bottle gift idea. Certainly a nice romantic homemade gift!

If you try this idea maybe go to a local stationary shop and buy a piece of really nice paper to put your message on. A little nicer than just your average scrap of paper!

You could even use this idea to keep building on each year. Keep the original bottle but add a new romantic anniversary message each year.
